"Welcome to Air Tanzania, the Wings of Kilimanjaro!”
As the CEO of Tanzania’s national carrier, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website and share some exciting developments that reflect our continued growth and dedication to delivering exceptional travel experiences.
We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our international network with the recent addition of Dubai, one of the world's most iconic cities. Due to the overwhelming response to our four weekly flights between Dar es Salaam and Dubai, we have introduced a new route connecting Zanzibar directly to Dubai. Starting from October 27, these flights will operate every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, opening the doors for travelers from Dubai to experience the beauty of Zanzibar, one of the most stunning island destinations in the world.
Speaking of Zanzibar, we have proudly introduced our newest aircraft to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport—the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, named ‘The Great Serengeti Migration.’ This state-of-the-art aircraft, with a capacity of 262 passengers and cargo capability of up to 20 tonnes, is the third Dreamliner in our fleet. Its innovative design and superior efficiency will play a vital role in expanding our services to both domestic and international destinations.
Our network now covers 25 destinations across nine countries, and we’ve made it even easier for you to explore them with the Air Tanzania mobile app. You can now book your flights, manage your travel, and stay updated on all the latest offers right from your smartphone. Download the app today from the Play Store or App Store and let Air Tanzania take you on a journey of unforgettable experiences.
Thank you for choosing to fly with Air Tanzania. We look forward to welcoming you on board soon and being part of your travel adventures.
Safe travels and warm regards,
Eng. Peter Ulanga
